I began my academic journey at Oakland Community College, where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. I then transferred to Walsh College to pursue studies in Finance, but quickly realized my true calling was in law. I shifted my focus, completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management before attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where I earned my Juris Doctor.

While in school, I worked as a paralegal for a solo practitioner, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. For the past 18 years, I have proudly practiced as a solo attorney, representing clients in matters including family law, bankruptcy, estate planning, probate administration and litigation, and guardianships and conservatorships. My approach to the law is client-centered, with a focus on clear communication, practical solutions, and strong advocacy.

In addition to my practice, I am an Adjunct Professor at Oakland Community College, where I teach Business Law. I have been a member of the State Bar of Michigan since 2007 and am admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan (2007). I also completed mediation training in 2004, adding another layer of skill to my practice and client advocacy.

I am an active member of the legal community and continue to stay involved in both professional development and client education.

Outside of my legal career, I have been married to my husband for 25 years. Together, we have two children, two golden retrievers, and three cats. Much of our free time is spent cheering on our daughter at college volleyball games and our son in soccer and basketball. As a family, we enjoy camping, exploring different beaches, and skiing.
